Eat happy dietitian
Pip is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with over 10 years experience working with children and families. Pip has always had a special interest in infant, paediatric and adolescent nutrition and has worked with children and families in leading Victorian, Queensland and New Zealand tertiary hospital and community health services. Pip works with clients of all ages but particularly enjoys working with adolescents.
Pip values spending time with children and families to help them manage and meet their nutritional needs whilst supporting them to have happy relationships with food and their bodies. Pip takes a family-based approach and considers the whole child when working with individual feeding concerns. Pip takes a Responsive Feeding approach by applying knowledge obtained throughout her career.
Pip has completed the Royal Children's Hospital's' Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition. She has also completed training in “Inclusive Approaches to Supporting Neurodivergent Children with Feeding Challenges”, “Responsive Feeding Therapy”, Ellyn Satter's “Feeding Dynamics Model”, “Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding” and “The Get Permission Approach”.
Pip is a neurodiversity affirming practitioner with a special interest in developmental conditions which may present feeding differences or challenges, such as Autism, ADHD and sensory processing differences.
As a food lover Pip understands how important the enjoyment of food is to both your child’s physical and mental wellbeing, and believes that all food has a place in your diet. Pip’s goal is for individuals to have a positive relationship with food and their body by taking a holistic approach to evidence based nutrition advice that is tailored to your families life stage, budget, goals, medical conditions, culture, activity levels and eating patterns.
In her spare time Pip loves cooking from her many cookbooks for her friends and family, surfing and yoga.
